We are now looking for a new full-time employee to join our production team.

Essential job function:

  • Ability to perform all aspects of the packaging line – filling cans, bottles and kegs. (after in house training period)
  • Adheres to and advances all safety protocols set in place by the Management / CEO
  • Strictly adhere to quality control and hygiene.
  • Maintains detailed records / logs of production volumes, quality control, and other brewery related data.
  • Cleans and performs preventative maintenance of facilities & equipment. Ability to troubleshoot malfunctioning equipment and or call the maintenance.
  • Assists in and performs essential warehousing functions, including accepting / fulfilling shipments, inventorying materials.
  • Learn principles of Cleaning in Place (CIP) for all equipment and be able to clean equipment, tanks, etc. as necessary.
  • Supports the fellow brewery staff in their respective responsibilities as assigned by the Production manager or Brewmaster.
  • Has a flexible schedule to accommodate demands and changes to production plans as needed.
  • Understands that additional duties may be assigned as dictated by circumstances.

We are a small company, and as such we expect our employees to be dynamic and fluid in their positions.

Shift work and overtime occurs regularly and is to be expected. Hours can vary from early in the morning or from afternoon to night, depending on production schedule

Qualifications:

  • Professional experience in food and beverage industry is a plus.
  • Fork truck licence is a plus
  • Mechanical aptitude is a plus

  • Positive attitude and willing to learn
  • Solution-oriented and cooperative
  • Work efficiently in a high-paced environment and cope with stress in a good way
  • Attention to quality and detail
  • Must be able to work under the direction of the supervisor, however the ability to work independently and be self-motivated is just as important.
  • Flexible, patient, attention to detail, committed to completion of tasks. Friendly and working well with others.
  • Overall, open-minded and flexible to do what needs to be done at all times.
